Lieberthal, Schilling Among 12 Nominees for Phillies Wall of Fame

Former Phillies Mike Lieberthal and Curt Schilling are among 12 nominees on the Phillies’ Wall of Fame ballot in 2012. The complete list is below.
Pitchers: Larry Christenson, Jim Konstanty, Ron Reed, Curt Schilling, Rick Wise
Catchers: Mike Lieberthal, Jimmy Wilson
Infielder: Pinky Whitney*
Outfielders: Greg Gross, Von Hayes
Coach: Mike Ryan
Manager: Jim Fregosi
Schilling was 101-78 with a 3.35 ERA in 242 games with the Phillies. He was a member of the big league club for 9 seasons, when he moved onto to the Arizona Diamondbacks and eventually the Boston Red Sox.
Lieberthal spent 13 seasons with the Phillies, batting .275 and racking up 150 home runs.
Voting for the Wall of Fame begins today and is open until March 14 at 5:00 pm.
