Phillies center fielder Shane Victorino will appear on CBS’ ‘Hawaii Five-O’ in an episode scheduled to air on February 20.
We all know how Shane feels about his home state, and the 31-year-old couldn’t pass up the opportunity to make a cameo on the hit series that is all about Hawaii. Here’s what MLB.com writer Todd Zolecki said about the appearance:
According to CBS, Victorino appears as a business executive on a company retreat. Olympic speed skater Apolo Ohno also appears in the episode as a Hawaiian history buff. The episode centers around the murder of a man dressed as a Hawaiian NaKoa warrior.
Victorino isn’t the only Phillies player to make an appearance on a hit television show recently. Ryan Howard and Chase Utley both made a cameo on “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” a little over a year ago, and Howard also appeared on HBO’s Entourage before that.
